Leon Lester is a highly gifted individual with excellent clairaudience and claircognizance, together with the ability to communicate with dead people, to predict future events, or to know about things that you have not actually seen happen or heard about yet. Even the Great Psychiatrist and forefather of Psychology, C.G.Jung wrote very accurately about the Occult, especially in his dissertation On the Psychology and Pathology of So-Called Occult Phenomena.

Leon is also an Artist who produces Paintings, Drawings, Photographs, Sculpture and Installations. He also works in other creative mediums such as the Dramatic arts, Music and Writing. Artistically, some of his work explores aesthetically both colour and form where he intends to make a lasting visual impact and be uplifting to the viewer, he is also interested in how he can relate his art to an understanding of the nature of reality. Thus art for him is also a way to express and illustrate ideas found in science, studies of consciousness and metaphysics.

While educated in the Fine Arts at University and College, he is largely self-taught. He is continually searching for the new and working hard to bring to the canvas what is yet to be seen. He has draw on his University Education in Accounting, Auditing, Commercial Law, Taxation, Economics, Econometrics, Politics, Finance, Metaphysics, Aesthetics, Counselling, Creative Writing, Education and the Psychology of Education, Studies of Religion, Law. He has made an effort to self-educate in the areas of Science, Western Astrology, Indian and Chinese Metaphysics, the Occult, Botany and Gardening, Yoga and Meditation. 

His life and artwork are informed by my commitment to the daily practice of meditation. Meditation being the primary activity for his inner exploration has brought forth many vivid visions and ideas. Patterns and forms in nature as well as sacred geometry continue to inspire his art and nourish him creatively. Movements that have influenced his art include Abstract Expressionism, Op Art, Sacred Geometric art and the Colour Field movement.

For him, art is about freeing one’s consciousness from the constructs and limitations of the mind and bringing the artist and art viewer into contact with the sublime as defined as something that illuminates a higher level of consciousness . In this way, art has a very healing quality both for the artist and the viewer of artwork. When making art, he feels he is better taken into the present moment where creative flow comes naturally and one’s mind becomes a servant rather than a master. The viewer is also taken to this space when gazing into a work and being immersed by the energy of it, in the same way one may experience the beauty of a flower or nature.

His main interests include Self-Mastery, Enlightenment, Art, Science, Guitar and Piano, Yoga and Chi Kung, Plants and Animals. In this life his goal is to achieve a state of peace and union with all things.
