Can child-like play be faulted? In a sense, the child is not as inhibited by the constructs and rigidity of the mind and in this sense is free to create, dream and play without limitation. Here play can bring forth great invention and discovery. This is why the child is so able to absorb new information, its senses are more open and it’s brain not yet entrapped in a fixed way of seeing the world.
